Medical testing device
Series of three ultra-sonic trackers used in medical school for teaching how to perform ultra-sound tests in different locations of the human body.
The product was designed to be made of plastic material using plastic injection technology. Due to the small scales of production needed, it was necessary to choose wisely the right production processes in order to achieve reasonable ratio between production costs and the final production price of the product.
The product was required to be of almost impossible weight to achieve from plastic products and it was also forbidden to use any metal inside the product. The project included designing the plastic parts by using various production technologies in the plastics field. The project faced many challenges among which designing the product to be easy to operate and having low production costs. The product is currently in daily use by the client.
